    Kick advertising

    One in five
live hours in Northern Europe is on Kick.

Kick opened for advertisers in 2026 and put the numbers on the table. Beta Ads sells Kick's own ad inventory in the Nordics, and runs the creator network that puts brands inside the streams. One partner, both routes.

    Kick in numbers

Third in the world. Second in the north. First in Finland.

Globally Kick is the third-largest live platform with 14.4 percent of all hours watched in Q1 2026. In Northern Europe it already takes one in five of all Kick and Twitch hours, against one in twenty-three in Western Europe. The Nordics are one of Kick's strongest regions in Europe, not an afterthought.

The Nordic figures below are not in the public media kit. Kick's advertising team sent them to us when we became their Nordic partner: 7.5 million watch hours in August 2026, trending up month on month, across 1.13 million monthly active users. Finland is over half. Eight in ten viewers are 18 to 34, they stay 55 minutes on average, and the chat runs at 26,000 messages a minute. That is the attention a brand borrows.

    What they watch

    Half gaming, a third talk.

Kick is not a casino channel with a gaming section attached. Gaming is 48 percent of everything watched, talk and IRL another 37. The 18+ categories exist, and they can be excluded with one targeting flag; more on that below.

    How to buy

    Kick's ad formats

Formats built for live. Booked for the Nordics through Beta Ads.

Kick sells five placements: banners and native tiles on the homepage and category pages, and non-skippable video inside the player. Since September 2026 Beta Ads books that inventory for the Nordics. Below is each format as Kick itself presents it, with the specs your creative team needs.

    In-stream video

    What it is

Non-skippable pre-roll on VOD, mid-roll in live streams, post-roll. Full screen, sound on, inside the player.

    Why it matters

    Full-screen, sound-on, in-player attention. No second screen, no scroll-past.

    Specs

    Pre-roll
    6 / 15 s, VOD
    In-livestream

    Homepage native takeover

    What it is

Your campaign styled as a stream card in the top rows of the homepage grid, with a clear ad label.

    Why it matters

Non-intrusive: it reads like content, not a banner. Prime placement in the top rows where attention already lives.

    Kick Ads formats

Platform placements on Kick, bought through us as Kick's Nordic partner. Geo-targeted by country, so a Norway-only or Finland-only buy is possible. We handle the deal, the creative specs and the reporting.

Kick prices in USD CPM and the program is still labelled Beta. We quote per campaign, in your currency, with the same three-tier structure we use for creator campaigns.

Write to andreas@beta-ads.no with market, budget and timing, and you get a quote back with real Nordic inventory numbers.

    Brand safety

Pick your comfort zone. Kick calls it that too.

Kick sorts its inventory into four tiers by content rating. Standard is the default and covers everyday gaming; the 18+ tier is only sold direct and only in some countries. Whichever tier you choose, streams under active moderation drop out of the ad inventory automatically.

    LimitedG to PG

G and PG rated games and categories. No IRL, Just Chatting or mature themes.

    StandardM
    Default

M-rated games and categories. Everyday gaming and streaming content with mild to moderate themes.

    ExpandedM to MA

M to MA rated video game categories. Extra reach for advertisers comfortable with more intensity.

    Restricted18+
    Direct only

18+ content. Only available in select countries to select advertisers, sold direct only.

    70+ visual classifiers
Every stream is analysed every 60 seconds. High-risk content is flagged and escalated automatically.
    Real-time chat moderation
NLP removes hate speech, bullying and slurs before viewers see them, with a timestamped audit log.
    Humans decide
All reports are reviewed by people. No automated bans, plus pre-monetisation review and KYC on creators.
    Invalid traffic
Google's ad server filters bot traffic with 200+ filters, and Kick passes a per-user trust score to it.

Beta Ads adds its own layer: every creator in a campaign is hand-picked, and every campaign goes through our compliance check for the market it runs in, including Norway's marketing rules for gambling and alcohol.

    GTA VI launches

Kick holds 47.7 percent of all GTA V watch time, 844 million hours in the last twelve months. Kick expects to be the place the world watches GTA VI, and is selling launch inventory now. We wrote a full guide to what the launch means for Nordic brands.

    Stream Fighters 5

The fourth edition reached 4.6 million concurrent viewers and briefly outranked Twitch and YouTube combined. The fifth is targeting ten million, mostly Spanish-speaking. A global reach moment more than a Nordic one, but it shows what a single Kick event can do.

    The honest part

Kick in the Nordics is a share story, not a scale story.

Kick's audience speaks English, Arabic, Spanish and Turkish. Norwegian, Swedish, Danish and Finnish together sit inside the four percent labelled Other. In absolute numbers, Twitch still has far more Nordic viewers.

So why bother? Because the 20 percent Northern Europe share means Kick is already where one in five live hours goes, and its creators are the ones with the least advertising on them. A Nordic brand that shows up now competes with almost nobody. On Twitch it competes with everyone.

    Beta Ads on Kick

The other way in: inside the stream itself.

Kick's placements put your brand around the picture. Our creator network puts it inside it: Kick streamers picked from a Streamer Explorer database of 39,000+ creators, native overlays during agreed moments, voice-triggered ads, polls in chat, and reach that survives into the replay. Booked from the same team, reported in the same report.

    FAQ
Can I advertise on Kick in Norway only?
Yes, both ways. Kick's own formats are geo-targeted by country and language-gated per category. Beta Ads campaigns are built creator by creator, so a Norway-only, Norwegian-language campaign is the normal case, not a special request.
    What does Kick advertising cost?
Kick's own inventory is priced in USD CPM and sold direct, programmatic or on the open exchange; the media kit publishes no rate card. Beta Ads prices on a CPM for verified overlay views, with three budget tiers. Our cost page walks through both.
    Is Kick brand-safe?
It depends on the tier you pick. Standard, the default, is M-rated gaming and everyday content, and streams under active moderation are removed from inventory automatically. The 18+ tier is a separate, direct-only product. With Beta Ads you also choose the specific creators, which is the strongest brand-safety control there is.
Kick or Twitch for a Nordic campaign?
Twitch for scale, Kick for share of attention and low ad clutter. Most of our Nordic campaigns now run on both, with Twitch carrying reach and Kick carrying frequency among the 18 to 34 core. We can show you the split from real campaigns in a demo.
